Unlike standard pumps, this model features AUTOADAPT technology, which automatically analyses the heating system’s demand and adjusts the pump’s pressure and flow to the absolute optimum level, ensuring maximum comfort with minimum energy consumption.

It is the perfect “fit and forget” solution for underfloor heating, radiators, and boiler loops, capable of operating in both constant pressure and proportional pressure modes.

Control Modes & Operation

The UPM3 AUTO is equipped with advanced internal controls, allowing it to work perfectly without external signals (like PWM).

• AUTOADAPT: The pump continuously learns the system requirements and adapts the curve. Recommended for most systems (especially radiators and standard UFH).

• Constant Pressure ($\Delta P-c$): Maintains constant pressure regardless of flow. Ideal for Underfloor Heating to ensure even circulation.

• Proportional Pressure ($\Delta P-v$): Increases pressure as flow increases. Ideal for radiator systems (TRV control).

• Constant Curve: Runs at a fixed speed (Curve 1, 2, or 3) for boiler charging or venting.

User Interface & Settings

The intuitive interface uses a single push-button and 5 LEDs to display the current mode and operational status.

• Operation Status: LEDs light up green to show the selected control mode (e.g., AUTOADAPT, Proportional, or Constant).

• Alarm Indication: If a fault occurs (e.g., rotor blocked, supply voltage low), the LEDs switch to a red warning code to assist diagnostics.

• Key Lock: Prevents tampering or accidental changes to the settings.
